Pevek
The seaport port of Pevek is located on the shore of the East Siberian Sea in Chaunskaya Bay. The port works only during the period of summer navigation (from the beginning of July until the end of October) and is the main port at the Northern Sea Route. The port of Pevek owns 3 mooring berths with total length of approximately 500m and an auxiliary pier. The port admits vessels with draught of up to 13m. OAO Sea Commercial Port of Pevek renders services to handle cargoes. The main types of handled cargoes are coal, container freights, industrial equipment, ferrous metals, and timber freights.
