Port of Naryan-Mar

The seaport of Naryan-Mar is located 70 miles from the mouth of the Pechora River flowing into Pechora Bay in the Barents Sea. The port is navigable from the middle of June until the middle of October; the navigational period can be prolonged until the middle of November with the assistance of icebreakers. The port admits vessels with length of up to 114m, width of up to 16m and draught of 4.9m. The port of Naryan-Mar has got 4 mooring berths with total length of approximately 400 metres. Vessels are handled both at the berths and at the roads. The cargoes (timber, coal, mineral and construction cargoes and commodities, containers, general cargoes, oil products) are handled and processed by OAO Naryan-Mar Sea Commercial Port.
