Port of Kandalaksha
The seaport of Kandalaksha is located on the eastern shore of Lupcha Bay, in the north-western part of Kandalaksha Bay in the White Sea. The port is navigable all year round, during the winter navigation the vessels’ traffic is provided by icebreakers. There are 5 mooring berths at the seaport of Kandalaksha with the total length of the mooring wall of 600 metres. The port admits vessels with length of up to 200m, width of up to 30m and draught of up to 9.8m. The port’s specialty is handling of a wide range of general and bulk cargoes: coal, metal scrap, crushed stone, iron-ore concentrate, schungite, salt, vehicles, and home trade general cargoes delivered to the Arctic regions. Handling services are rendered by OOO Kandalaksha Sea Commercial Port.
